Humans: Constantly lowering human standards

"I didn't wanna go another round,
An angry man's power will shut you up,
Trip-wire fill this house with tip-toe love,
Run out of excuses with every word,
So I'm here and I will not run"
- Guts Over Fear, Eminem ft.Sia

Let's face it and talk about it today. We are irrational, we are violent, we lack, we envy, we give in and more than often we hurt others. Humans have been killing humans long before the modern terrorism, prior to the present day weaponry and with full intention of doing so; sleeping normally the next night. Whether in the shade of man-made religion, or in search of power or sometimes just because they wanted to do it anyways. Wars have been fought so that one country can have something that the other country has. Battles were uphold simply because one nation's leader disagreed with what some other country's leader had to say.

It's easy for one to ponder over the humanitarian issues of the world while changing songs on smartphone whilst driving on a public bus in Canada, than to act or do something about it. Not only it is hard to alter something in our perfect world, it's practically near impossible. There are organizations, law firms, banks and other 17 bureaucratic non-sense which will prohibit you to do that. And even if you successfully manage to make your case against all that and present it to a country's government (or to who know what is the ultimate authority, GOD ?!), 98 other people out of a hundred will probably disagree with you because the idea doesn't have anything in it for them.

I keep losing my faith in humanity whenever I see such events taking place like the one in the US at the moment, and keep re-gaining it whenever people like David (some stranger on the road) gives me a lift to nearby station on a rainy day, when I see somebody helping someone who can never repay them back, and yes I try to do a random act of kindness whenever I'm presented an opportunity to do so.

We have to understand that we are the only ones we've got. If you don't like somebody because they follow a particular religion, or because they look like that, or sound like this, or are from a different country, or don't agree with you; well too bad! Just suck it up and deal with it! NOT BUY A FUCKING GUN AND KILL THEM! Or make them to leave the country or just plainly hate them. Try to work with them, try to talk to them, figure out what's wrong with you, or maybe don't do any of it, but don't participate in practices that end up hurting another person, emotionally, physically or both.

Just see what wonderful things we can achieve if we work together, give an equal chance to everyone to make their argument. Not only care for your family and friends but also care for others around you. No matter how much money you make, everybody's going to die one day anyways. Let's try someone remembers you after, maybe because you helped them, or maybe because you talked nice to them or just because you smiled at them daily on the train while commuting to work.Try to fill life into years not years to life. Let's all try to be better, or at least to be human, the word we call ourselves proudly!
Peace <3

2016: A modern world that we live in

Hi,

This world, the one that we live in, the one that surrounds us, the one that we've taken for granted, is changing, quickly. Whether we accept it or deny it, like it or dislike it, care about it or don't, it's happening every day; every moment; right now. 'Facebook me'; 'Check your Instagram'; 'I just tweeted this'; are becoming more and more popular and people drain their time and energy doing all this. But that is not what concerns me. The thing that bothers me the most is how frustratingly solitary it is making us. Don't take my statement in the wrong way, I do all these things as well, but for a limited time of my day. There are more ways of communication right now that did't exist some years ago, but the actual communication has decreased quite a lot.

It disturbs me that people don't get how improper, disrespectful and most of all insulting it is, when they are invested in their smartphones when I'm talking with them. Even while watching a movie, playing a party game, sitting at a restaurant and sometimes even while just sitting at home and talking, they take out their precious phone and start seeing photos of an Instagram model or play a mobile game. Has it become that much important to keep up with all the Hollywood and celebrity world news and gossip that it has surpassed the priority of talking with another human being? People have become distant and introvert at a degree that they prefer to be unaccompanied even when they're with a company of their friends or family. People seem to have given more importance towards watching a TV show instead of reaching out to an old friend and ask 'How the hell are you? or What's going on with your life?'.

I have friends that always seem to constantly 'Whatsapp' someone. So, they are talking with some other person, who is away from them, while ignoring the one right beside them. Cool (I wonder who they're with, when they are talking to me on Whatsapp - That poor bastard!). Also, sometimes I'm sitting at a restaurant with friends and most of them are looking at their smartphones and/or talking with someone else on the phone. ISTHISREALLIFE?! I am genuinely happy and thankful that I spent a childhood without all this. The reason sometimes I miss my old friends is because I spent quality time with them. We played, we ate, we went out, we watched movies, and did all those things together, and didn't do all those things so that we can post photos on Facebook or Twitter. Nowadays doing things together feels like doing things 'together separately'. On a travel, people are busy taking photos on their phones so much, that they miss the actual moment. Even while out in wilderness, all they care is if their cell is getting a network or not.

People have become so pretentious and unreal that they try to present their best selves to other people they don't know, but act obnoxiously with their loved ones; so self-centered that all they care about is 'me' and 'my'; so busy bettering themselves to keep up with the world that they don't care about anything else or anyone else prior to themselves.

I hope one day people become aware of this and start caring more about their surroundings and other human beings surrounding them; start asking 'Hey pal, how have you been' to their friends instead of finding out what's the name of a Hollywood celebrity's dog; stop spending all of their time, energy and money on themselves and start investing in a relationship with others; start taking calls and start calling back upon seeing a missed call; start caring for others as much as they care for their pet dogs. I hope in this pinnacle of technology there comes an epiphany to enable us all to care for each other. I hope.

CS:GO betting guide: How to not lose money - Part 1

Hello there people,
I'm back with yet another interesting article on how to bet for CS:GO matches on lounge and minimize your loss :P
This is a two part guide, first part is pretty much about some general rule for betting and some advice. The second part will be more core part (coming up next week) on how to analyze significance of a match and whether to bet on it or not. Things like which match to bet for, how much do you wanna bet and much more will be discussed in that part. So, Here are some general rules about betting overall and with respect to CS:GO of course, please be advised that to really understand the underlying foundation of CS:GO betting, this part is really necessary.

1. Prepare to lose

Yes, you heard it right. There's no secret over here. If you're jumping into betting, there will be risk and you might end up losing up to $240 (max-bet) or more if you're betting from multiple account. Bet only the stuff that you can afford to lose. I once lost a 90%-10% match, losing $100 on the 90% team whose name remains anonymous (Damn you VP :P - just kidding big fan).

2. There's no safe bet

Again to go with the first rule, there's no match that is safe to bet. You can't underestimate a 5% underdog team out against NIP. The other team can really get the momentum and win against the 95% proportion team, specially on LAN this has happened in the past. So, I'd be very careful in betting for such scenarios as 90% - 10% matches.

3. Anything can happen in CS:GO

It's hard to digest but believe me anything can happen in CS:GO, literally anything. I've seen match where a team would come back from ashes and crush the other team to win the match in third overtime or so. So be prepared to be amazed.

4. Never bet on NA matches

Trust me, once you're into betting, you'll say the same to me after some time. It is clear to me as ice that NA teams sometimes throw for skins (not saying that EU teams don't), so my thumb rule is not to bet on these matches. No offense to NA scene, I live in Canada and am very proud to be a part of the CS:GO fan base here but I would ''never'' bet on any NA matches.
(NA = North America)

5. Go with your gut feeling

I am not saying that never listen to anyone else's comment or advice for betting purpose, I am just suggesting to go with the team you really think is gonna win. Sometimes gut feelings are true and even if you lose some money, still you wouldn't feel remorse cause you really believed in them and/or the team tried really hard. Listen to your heart at the same time predicting the winning team with your brain. Don't blindly follow any team in betting but at least consider what you feel about the match.

That's pretty much it for this introductory part, more in-depth information incoming next week.
Till next time...

GOT Season Finale Thoughts and Take-aways [ spoiler alert ]

Hello there my avid blog readers,

It's been some time since I've written something, guess that's me. I am working out to balance my schedule to get more time to blog, cause it's really the one thing i like.

So here we are, with the end of another sensational season finale for the Game of Thrones T.V. Series season 5. To be honest, I was not a huge GOT fanboy till 2015, I just started watching it couple of months ago and here I am, the ultimate fan of GOT out there in the universe. My love for the series might me exaggerated, but believe me this is something you gotta watch.

Some spoiler alert before you proceed forward, If you haven't watched GOT s05e10, please do not proceed forward, and if you haven't watch GOT at all, my friend start ASAP.

Here're 5 take-aways and thoughts on this season's finale.

1. No matter how good and wise you are, sometimes we make some mistakes out of desperation or sometimes due to someone else's deceitful deceptions, we don't think straight and do the most terrible of things that we might regret in the future. This is in reference with Stannis, how he got lead into the craft of the red woman, not only he burned his daughter furthermore he did what he knew wasn't the right thing to do, still leading the army of his to winterfell and letting them die. He surely was a wise man, but fell for trickery and caused the massacre for others.

2. How a little girl, bold yet immature, can become a fierce assassin and murder his enemy in cold blood. Arya is an example of great courage, patience and the will to achieve anything in the world. She really proves nothing is impossible by killing Meryn Trant the kingsguard.

3. How your past can haunt you in unanticipated situation. Daenerys is the example of it. In the glory of the moment, she flew on her dragon so far, that in a distant land away from her home, his past deeds ( not necessarily bad) came to haunt her. She is now surrounded by thousands of dothrakis and face an uncertain future.

4. Once a queen and used to live in the elegant castles with all the luxury, Cersei now had to face the implications of her past deeds ( of course bad). She had to face the walk of atonement and the shame that comes with it. I sometimes wonder how much power the common man has in this modern time, seeing this reminds me that the common man, the many, if stand against the few they fear, surely they can do anything.

5. This really breaks my heart. How trust can kill you, proving that the real enemy might not be the one you loathe and hate, it can be any person near you that you don't know about who loathes and hates you.'valar morghulis' - All men must die, some die in vain, some die for vain, and some do not die even after they're dead, they live among the hearts of others. While Jon made a hard decision of saving wildlings for the watch's sake and in a hope that by doing such they might stand a change against the huge army of white-walkers, he was betrayed by his own men.

And as usual anything can happen on Game Of Thrones. Anything.
Till next time.
